Entry-Point Infrastructure for Gas Utilities and Industrial Operators
PCL-Gas designs and delivers city gate and pressure regulation and metering station systems that form the critical interface between transmission networks and downstream distribution infrastructure. Each facility incorporates gas receiving systems, custody transfer metering, pressure regulation and control equipment, safety shutdown systems, and distribution entry infrastructure — engineered to specific flow rates, pressure ranges, and metering accuracy requirements of the client and applicable regulatory standards.
Custody Transfer Metering and Pre-Engineered PRMS Skids
Custody transfer metering packages are designed for the accuracy and traceability required for commercial gas measurement, incorporating ultrasonic, turbine, or rotary displacement technologies alongside flow computers and SCADA integration. PRMS skids are supplied as pre-engineered, factory-tested packages configured to client inlet and outlet pressure requirements — incorporating regulators, slam shut valves, relief valves, filters, and metering in a compact, maintenance-accessible arrangement.
Distribution Entry, Safety and Telemetry Systems
Distribution entry infrastructure provided by PCL-Gas includes block valve stations, odorisation systems, gas quality monitoring, cathodic protection interfaces, and telemetry integration — ensuring downstream networks receive supply within the pressure, quality, and measurement parameters required for compliant operation. City gate and PRMS capabilities serve gas utilities, industrial operators with dedicated receiving infrastructure, government-backed distribution expansion programmes, and upstream operators requiring field export metering.
